Who Moved My Cheese is a business parable about how
people can react to change. It is an easy read with a very clear
message and everyone will equate to one or other of the characters
in some situations.
It's the story of some mice and some people who are faced
with change. The source of their happiness (in this case cheese
though it could relate to anything, such as customers) is
suddenly removed.
What the characters do next is the whole purpose of the book.
The Mice, Sniff and Scurry, just got on with looking for new
cheese. The people, Hem and Haw, couldn't believe the cheese
had gone so they looked for it. Then they ranted and raved
about the injustice of it all....this is not the way things
are supposed to be. Then ....well you will have to read the
book to find out how it turns around.
Great read, well written, generated a lot of conversations
amongst the team and ended up in a really positive attitude
to change.
