Team-wise are specialists in developing individuals to be effective in team situations.
From the director of Team-wise:
Over the years there have been a number of major changes in my understanding of teams and how to influence them. Perhaps the most signicant, simple and basic experience was a time when, many years ago, I was in a team meeting and wanted the meeting to go well. But with the people there on that day with the beliefs, values and abilities that they had, it all went downhill. And during that meeting back then I found that I didn't have the skills to turn it round.
That set me off on a mission to understand how teams work and how to influence them.
Now I can see the power of teams and I have a much greater understanding of how to influence them. To the extent that if I were back in that meeting now, things would be very different.
At the same time I reckon I have also seen the four corners of a training/intervention matrix, ranging:
- from extended expensive training sessions, to short inexpensive interactions.
- from ineffectual sessions to highly effective sessions that achieved long lasting results.
Wouldn't it be impressive if, by just reading this page it set your mind thinking about how to achieve, short, inexpensive, highly effective interventions, which in turn caused significant change to you, the people around you, and the teams and organisations that they are a part of.
